Cabin Fun!

This last week we went up to the Layton Cabin on Mt. Graham . It was so nice to get out of town and be in the cool, rainy weather. We went from 90 degree weather to 59 degree weather. Porter had a blast playing with his cousins. Aunt Melissa took us on a hike to go see a water fall but their wasn't any water fall :( Just a little stream, but it was still beatiful.) Porter the big boy that he is went on the hike with us. The whole time he kept saying "Hard, mom, hard." Sweet Annie was a huge help and carried him up the mountain a couple of times to give me a break. Ashlee and Amy worked on their domestic skills. They worked on blankets for Baby Saydee. (Sorry if I spelt that wrong Amy). Porter had fun being mean to Maggie and digging in the dirt with his trucks. We had so much fun. Porter didn't want to leave, he cried the whole way home.

Anywho Jack is sitting up now and has started eat baby cereal. He is getting so old, it makes me sad. We had to start buying him twelve month clothing and he will be 6 months on Saturday. But he just as cutie as can be.

We had a ton of fun taking these pictures. And yes Porter is really looking at the Camera (Amazing I know). The only way we got him to be good was by bribing him with a pool. And we got lucky, it worked. Anyways Thanks to Annie we got some really good pictures.

Family Time

This past weekend we planted our winter garden. Mitch parents rented rototiller so we used it to get our garden ready to plant seeds. Porter had a lot of fun working with Mitch. At first he was scared and stayed on Mitch shoulders, then he began to (with the help of mitch) push it himself. We had a ton of fun planting carrots, lettuce, onions and potatoes.

I finally did it!

So i finally made a blog! I have know idea what I'm doing but whatever.

So Porter is doing this new thing where he pretends to take our ears off and eat them its really cute. I have know idea where he got that from. I'm sure it was uncle Matt or Pop. Jackson is still as cute as can be. He is such a good baby. He is starting to smile a ton. Porter just can't leave him alone. Here is a picture of Mitch and Jack this last week when we were grilling outside.

And while we were grillng Porter found a barbie doll some where and started playing with it. Mitch loved it (Not).
